I’m Bernard Pearson, husband to my high-school sweetheart, father of three incredible daughters, and proud grandfather of four energetic boys and a new granddaughter born in March, 2025.
My journey began in my family’s furniture business, working side by side with my late father, who taught me the value of hard work and responsibility at a young age. What started as small cleanup jobs soon grew into a thriving operation with multiple moving trucks and two furniture stores. Those early years built the foundation of grit, discipline, and resilience that I carry with me today.
I carried those lessons into a 28-year corporate career with The New York Times and Tiffany & Co., where I mastered leadership, project management, and time management while managing multi-million-dollar budgets and global teams.
But my passion for building people extended beyond the corporate world. I founded a girls’ basketball program that grew from just 6 players into more than 100 athletes traveling nationwide — proving that with structure, accountability, and vision, you can transform lives and communities.
Along the way, I also built a thriving real estate portfolio, managed career pivots, and learned firsthand how to balance family, work, and entrepreneurship. Through it all, one truth became clear: time management isn’t just about calendars and checklists — it’s about building the life and legacy you want.
That’s why I founded Fourteen Forty LLC — to help students, entrepreneurs, teams, and leaders reclaim their minutes and turn them into momentum. My mission is bold but simple: equip 1 million people to maximize every minute.
